Letting Go of Negative Emotions to Let Positivity Shine Through

Is negativity getting you down all day? Are you overwhelmed by emotions like fear and anger?

It may be issues in your own life, or you may be bombarded with social media and news headlines designed to instill fear. It’s impossible to turn on the TV or look at social media without viewing violence around the world. You want to stay in tune to what’s happening around the globe, but it gets to be too much.

It may be a good time to purge those negative emotions.

Let’s take a look at some practices that can help.

You can purge the negative energy and free your positive energy to shine through. You can get in touch with the healing vibrations throughout your body and the world.

What are the warning signs that you have absorbed too much negative energy? And what can you do to let go of that negativity?

Constant fatigue and low energy

Perhaps you aren’t as motivated as usual, and you have little energy to accomplish your daily tasks. This may cause you to stay in your house more than you should, turn down invites, or procrastinate about getting your work done. Negative energy causes you to feel stuck, frustrated, and heavy.

What to do? Soak your feet in magnesium bath salts. A magnesium deficiency may contribute to inflammatory health issues like migraines, which can cause lethargy and fatigue. Add magnesium-rich foods to your diet including black beans, almonds, pumpkin seeds, oatmeal, and spinach. This will help build up your energy levels.

Excessive fear

Are you always on alert? Does hearing the phone ring rattle you? Are you always worried about the future and what could happen? These behaviors can contribute to social isolation, body tension, and shallow breathing. You may be overwhelmed by feeling out of control about the future.

What to do? Trying tapping, which is to apply a light touch to areas of your body that are responsive and sensitive. These include areas on your scalp, face, hands, and feet. Apply organic essential oils or cream on the palms of your hands and soles of your feet. This activates your skin receptors that then send calming messages to your brain and gut. Your nervous system will begin to calm down as well. Your muscles will relax and breathing will deepen.

Moodiness

You might find yourself overreacting to issues that you normally tolerate well. Suddenly, little things are bothering you a lot. You may get easily triggered and annoyed. Your irritation may become noticeable to family and friends, who begin to stay away or express concern.

What to do? You need to detox your negative mood. A very effective method is to get outdoors! A nature hike gives you the opportunity to soak in some rays of sunshine and feel the breeze on your face. Being in nature is a great way to stabilize your positive energy allowing it to shine forth past the negativity. The vibrations from the earth can help reduce inflammation. This has been studied scientifically and documented as an effective method. It offers healing benefits for chronic inflammation and autoimmune diseases.
