Our CMRT Dental Panel serves as a comprehensive screening tool designed to identify potential reactions with components commonly found in dental and orthopedic restoratives. Its core aim is to assist in the selection of the most suitable and least reactive restorative products tailored for individual patients.
Technical Highlights:
- Test Basis: Passive antibody detection leveraging the precipitin method to capture reactions present at or above a set threshold. This eliminates false positives due to casual contact.
- Targeted Antibodies: IgG, IgM
- Antigen Range: A broad spectrum of 94 chemical groups and families of compounds.
- Specimen Requirements: 2-3ml of separated serum. Plasma can be used if serum is unavailable.
- Precision & Reliability: Precision is observed at >97% on multiple aliquots from a single specimen, with a reliability rate exceeding 95% on sequential specimens.
Features:
- Determination of Product Suitability: The CMRT Dental Panel evaluates restorative material based on its components in their most bioactive forms, such as dissociable, ionizable, releasable, bio-available, or bio-convertible forms.
- Extensive Reporting: Our reports provide a clear positive or negative determination for the 94 basic chemical groups and families of compounds. This is then correlated with over 17,204 dental restorative trade products across 37 application categories and more than 10,427 orthopedic restorative products in 34 application categories. Information is meticulously organized both categorically and alphabetically for ease of reference.
Contraindications: There are several scenarios where the CMRT Dental Panel may not be recommended. These include conditions like severe immune incompetence, heavy long-term immune suppression, certain child populations, and conditions of non-specific immunoglobulin generation.
Ensuring Accurate Results: While our CMRT Dental Panel boasts high precision and reliability, it’s essential to note potential sources of false positives or negatives. Factors that might affect results include crossover reactions, non-specific reactive serum proteins, long-term sample holding without adequate cooling, microbial overgrowth, low antibody titers, and the onset of high tolerance to immunogens.
Your Personalized Dental Health Compass: The CMRT Dental Panel stands as a beacon of innovation in dental health, ensuring that every patient receives care tailored to their unique biology. Elevate your dental care experience by understanding your body’s preferences, ensuring optimal health, and minimizing adverse reactions.
